Pinterest Anyone?

PinterestOkay. I’ll admit it. I was a little slow on the uptake with Pinterest. Another digital rabbit hole to tumble down. You know how it is. You start noodling around with a site like that at noon and before you know it, it’s 2:30. Your to-do list sits idle on your desk mocking you. And by then it’s time to order a skim latte to jump-start the afternoon.

But then I read a blog that came my way from Med Kharbach via LinkedIn called “Ten Pinterest Boards Every Teacher Must Know About”

MUST know about? Then I want in.

Here are just a few discoveries: Free technology for teachers. Kid blog network activities. A “Vocab Twister” game. And a whole section on Pinterest devoted to teachers and star bloggers.

I have to say, though, that the collage-like format that is Pinterest plays into my basic distractibility. But it’s good to know about all the creative teachers in the world who are happy to share their best ideas. Thank you, amazing educators everywhere.
